Mr & Mrs Mays approached us to create a patio area for their home at Yaxham with the brief of producing a nice area to entertain on and also an area that their daughter Gracie could play happily on. We worked out designs on site for the project and the Mays were excited about the solution we had presented. Work was undertaken to dig out the whole area where all the paving was laid on a solid concrete base. The patio was laid in natural sandstone in sunrise colour with an alpha set border in burnt oak in colour.
All pointing on sandstone is done with a resin colour buff. Added to the design were two circular effects. The patio was built around the hot tub.

I wanted to share our experience of KT Lake and the pleasure our new Patio has brought us. We agonised for weeks over the layout and size of the area we wanted and once decided we had 2 reputable patio firms and a builder quote for the work. All prices varied and seemed OK but we felt as if we would end up with just slabs and nothing particularly special. Ben and Steve were perfect gentlemen, the site was cleared and tidied every night and even when we asked for a design change the guys dry laid it for us to see. If you’re looking for a patio to add ‘that something’ to your home then KT Lake certainly delivered beyond our expectations. From the start to the end nothing was too much trouble, everything went as planned, the process was explained to us and they finished off with some topsoil and other little extras that we know the other companies wouldn’t have done…….it’s more than obvious that KT Lake are passionate about their work.
As Karl said, his business is built on reputation and in this climate where it’s easy to simply go with the cheapest quote his workmanship and company approach will continue to win him more projects. Our home has now gained a great area where we can entertain and enjoy the summer. We couldn’t be more pleased and the great comments we receive from everyone that sees it.
